Don’t miss the Mt. Zion Swingsations, a competative show choir comprised of over 60 high school students who perform and compete across the midwest. Public Services

Mt. Zion offers a plethora of convenient services to its residents, including utility and trash, banks, a newspaper, and a post office. It is also home to its own police and fire department, as well as a public library.

Mt. Zion Schools

Mt. Zion is served by Mt. Zion Community School District, which works with families to fully develop every child’s ability to be a lifelong learner and a contributing member of society. It is comprised of McGaughey Elementary, Mt. Zion Grade School, Mt. Zion Intermediate School, Mt. Zion Junior High School, and Mt. Zion High School.
